The concert organised by Mrs Jan Taylor (one of the singers) was a great success. The event was a sellout and some of the comments afterwards were: ‘Out of this world’, ‘An uplifting evening of glorious music, glamorous performers and the most beautiful singing’, ‘Haven’t heard such good singing in our church since the cast of the German production of The Phantom of the Opera attended a wedding at the church many years ago’, Wow!!
The weather was glorious, enabling people to go outside during the interval, and we made between £550.00 – £600.00 (exact amount to be confirmed at the time of writing), which is astonishing for our little church. Thank you so much to all the people who attended the concert, and those who helped on the day.
