A christening is where a child is baptised. It is a service which brings family and friends together to celebrate your child’s first step on their amazing journey with God.
You do not have to be a churchgoer yourself or even have been christen.
The godparents that you choose are required to be baptised, they are not just special on that day. Godparents play a special part in your child’s life even when they are grown-up themselves. Here at St Margaret’s, the roles and meanings of this wonderful christening are explained fully in a delightful way throughout the service.
