On Thursday 7th September, St Margaret’s held its normal coffee morning. However, this week it was in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Although we usually welcome over 20 people to the weekly event, the opportunity to support Macmillan increased our number to over 30. There was a group enjoying coffee, sausage rolls, cakes, and a natter inside the church and such was the attendance there was overspill outside too! We almost run out of chairs! Thank goodness the weather was kind and those outside enjoyed sitting in the shade of the churchyard trees.
As a result, we were delighted to send a donation of £100 to support the excellent work of Macmillan.
